Architecture firm Milroy Perera and Maga Engineering are collaborating to build a 46-storey, high-rise building that will be constructed with the world’s tallest greenwall and vertical garden in Sri Lanka.



The “Clearpoint Residencies” tower will be covered in plants and gardens with eco-friendly facilities likes: self-sustaining watering system, energy-efficient air conditioning, solar paneling, and more. It’s designed to have a minimal carbon footprint and extremely low maintenance costs (For a building of its scale).

According to the architects, it will be “pioneering sustainable residences in Sri Lanka, with the aim of taking urban living forward while still maintaining a balance with nature and the surrounding environment.”



The “Clearpoint Residencies” tower located at few miles from the center of the city, Columbo, & it is expected to be finished by late 2015.
